HI, MY NAME IS JULIUS!
Hi, I’m Julius! I design because I want to make people’s lives easier. In 2024, I graduated in Communications And Multimedia Design in Rotterdam. Now, I’m applying this knowledge to design user experiences and build websites.
Shoot me a message, and let's have a coffee together! I’d love to work with you, or just to have a chat about our favourite films, albums, or games 😁.

MY PHILOSOPHY
DESIGN FOR SELF-DEVELOPMENT
An indecisiveness in possible career paths due to an overabundance of choice, a social isolation-epidemic, the rise of digital media addiction, and feeling lost in your late teens and (early) 20s. Are you reading a list of modern societal problems, or a description of my experience growing up?
The modern young adult faces a challenging path to adulthood, and it is shown in the rising depression rates. As no stranger to the aforementioned topics, I’d love to design tools that help others in making this path a bit easier to walk.GREAT ARTISTS STEAL
One of my biggest roadblocks in becoming a designer was my reliance on no one but myself. I considered getting help or even just searching for inspiration as an admission of guilt, that I am not able to complete a task on my own. Now I’ve come to terms with the truth: I CAN’T always do it alone.
I create much better work when I present myself as unknowing, yet eager to learn. Where I was first like a rock, I am now like clay; shaped by the people and things around me, constantly developing by learning from other’s experiences.NO FUN? WHY BOTHER!
I believe we as people have put too much emphasis on productivity. Yes, productivity is good, but not to the point that we should feel guilty whenever we need to take a break. We shouldn’t be worrying about ‘passive income’ when we’re trying to rest.
Going on holidays, enjoying art, having a laugh with friends - carefree fun is what I believe makes life worth living. To create memories and have good experiences. I design with that same goal in mind: an enjoyable experience is a good experience.DESIGN FOR SELF-DEVELOPMENT

IN MY FREE TIME…
I adore capturing moments and memories on film. From making holiday videos, to short-form stories, to just experimenting with the possibilities of film! The following are some scenes from the most recent video I made:

Complementary, I of course spend a lot of time at local cinemas. I adore seeing a director in full control of their craft, creating a work that broadens my worldview or gets me to know myself better.
Besides you’ll find a few films that connect with me deeply. I hope our taste is similar!
